Personalized Embroidered Golf and Bowling Towels

There are two times a year when we get busy at Country N' More,  making personalized embroidered golf and bowling towels. People are retiring, Mothers and Fathers day are coming up. These personalized gifts make great birthday gifts and just because gifts.

This personalized embroidered gift is a recent request, but I am posting this after the recipient receives their gift. I don't want to spoil any surprises. Who knows, the person may be searching on the Internet for personalized golf gifts.

Mardi Gras Celebration Benefiting Restoring Balance Autism Recovery

Restoring Balance-Autism Recovery Fundraiser Aprons-New Styles Just Added

I learned about this organization and how autistic children and adults are recovering from autism. I can say so much, but I would highly suggest visiting Restoring Balance and listening to the trailer.

I am proud to announce that Country N' More is teaming up with Restoring Balance Autism Recovery. In the coming months, we will be adding special aprons, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit this wonderful non-profit organization.

I made this apron especially for one of their fundraisers. There will be only 3 aprons like it.

New Reversible Spring Cobbler Aprons-Lg-2XL and Medium at www.countrynmore.com

Well....you can tell what this subject is about just from the title. We are making new aprons every day. Many of the reversible aprons at Country N' More, are one-of-a-kind.

Our handmade cobbler aprons are completely reversible. We have been making reversible cobbler aprons since 2003 and we have customers as far away as Norway. One of the aprons that we sold several years ago, was used in the movie, "One for the Money."  These aprons will fit sizes large, x-large, and 2XL The beach and the chicken theme aprons were last made several years ago, while the other aprons have never been seen by our customers.

Below are reversible cobbler aprons in size medium. We are trying to expand our inventory to include more plus size and medium size aprons.

Cutting, Cutting, and More Cutting

When someone looks at an apron, especially the reversible aprons, they don't realize the work that goes into making one apron. There is double the cutting, with a total of 8 straps that need to be cut for each apron. I have been going through fabrics and containers of fabric. I have some aprons that have been partially cut out, but at the time, either something else had come up, causing me to put the aprons aside. Maybe, I was doing the same thing....going through fabrics, hoping that I would find just the right fabric for the reverse side. All set aside, I have been preshrinking fabric and doing a lot of cutting.

Once I get a lot of aprons made up, they will be ironed, pictures taken, and then put up on the website. Whew!

Look for new aprons in the coming weeks. There are few couple of aprons that were made a long time ago and which have been out of stock for some time. Here are a couple of aprons that are now back in stock, with a very limited supply.

Project Linus Donated Blankets for Children Suffering From Trauma

I am so glad that I can be a part of this great organization. No, I do not make any blankets, but I would like to some day. These women are amazing. They give their time to create blankets for children suffering from trauma.

In the last two weeks, they donated a lot of blankets to different hospitals. This is from the coordinator message:

Pumpkin Cheesecake- Yummy!

This time of year, I like to make pumpkin cheesecake. Whether it is for a holiday meal or a get together with friends, the pumpkin cheesecake is a huge hit. The recipe can be found here at genius kitchen.
